Terence has 27 years’ experience in the field of human resources and has also complemented his experience in the field of human resources by completing a 3–week program in Safety & Health at the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health, Malaysia. He is also a Human Resources Development Fund (PSMB) Certified Trainer (Malaysia). At Star Media Group, under his leadership, the human resource function has successfully won several recognized awards for excellence in the HR field, in the field of leadership development, graduate trainee initiatives, use of HR technology, etc. He is experienced in dealing with national unions and managing the intricacies of a unionized work environment, which includes concluding multiple collective agreements and ensuring unions are placed as a business partner of the organization. He has also served as a panel member of the Malaysian Industrial Court and the Social Security Organization’s Appellate Board.
