Sarah Yon is the Executive Director, Head of People at GX Bank, Malaysia’s first digital bank by Malaysians for Malaysians with the strong mission to make high-quality financial services affordable and accessible for all. As part of the pioneering team, she has shaped GX Bank’s talent strategy and a steward of Culture on “3 Cs”—Curious, Courageous, and Cinta—ensuring a people-first approach in the Bank’s growth.

Sarah supports GX Bank’s financial inclusion initiative, Impian Gigih – in providing scholarships to the underserved communities. Beyond the field of HR, she also serves on the Industry Advisory Board at a local university, sharing her expertise to bridge education and industry needs and contributed to a build of a Community School. In recognition of her contributions, she received the HR Leader Asia Award in 2024.
