Mohd Radzuan Mohamed has over 20 years of experience in the industry, covering takaful and retakaful, insurance and reinsurance, broking, consulting, and adjusting. Before joining MTA, he held various senior management positions in insurance and takaful companies. With strong leadership, management, and international exposure, he plays a key role in driving the transformation of the takaful industry, particularly under the Value-Based Intermediation for Takaful Framework. He is currently the Grand Councilor of The Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF) and holds several academic and professional appointments, including Adjunct Professor at Sultan Azlan Shah University (USAS) and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Member of Board of Studies at IIiBF IIUM, National Council Member of MFPC, Academic Council Member of the Asian Institute of Insurance (Aii), and a committee member of Lembaga Zakat Selangor (MAIS). He is also a Registered Financial Planner (RFP), holds multiple fellowships and certifications in Islamic finance, insurance, and risk management, and was a recipient of the Risk Icon Award. He is an alumnus of Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland.
