Hsern Wei is a Partner and Head of PwC’s Academy, PwC Malaysia. He has over 18 years of experience in the areas of leadership development, organisational development and talent management.  

At PwC, he pioneered the establishment of six External Academies for clients and facilitates leadership programs for senior and C-level cohorts. Internally, he spearheaded the “Future Skills” initiative—encompassing both digital and human skills—most recently launching an AI Academy. He also directed the transformation of the career journey framework by implementing a new performance management framework, implementing a new people value proposition, and nurturing a culture of continuous learning. Amongst other recognitions, PwC Malaysia has been awarded an HR Excellence Award in Learning & Development (2020) and in Leadership Development (2018). 

Hsern Wei is a frequent speaker and thought leader in the field of learning & development and futures thinking. He was selected as one of the “30 under 30” learning leaders at Elliott Masie’s Learning 2011, a programme aimed at developing and spotlighting the next generation of learning leadership. He holds a Master’s of Science in Occupational Psychology from University of Surrey, United Kingdom and is a member of the British Psychological Society. Before PwC, Hsern Wei spent his working career in consulting and leadership development in London.
