Kelly Chong is a senior finance leader with more than 17 years of FMCG experience, most recently serving as Finance Director for Unilever Malaysia & Singapore. Throughout her career, she has partnered with senior leadership teams to drive business performance, transformation and strategic decision-making. She also sponsored and led the Malaysia and Singapore finance team in pioneering Unilever’s first market pilot of machine-led forecasting for forecast submission, providing first-hand experience in integrating technology into finance processes and ways of working. Kelly believes the real opportunity from AI goes beyond automation. It is about enabling finance professionals to spend less time producing information and more time interpreting it, challenging assumptions and influencing better business decisions. She is a Fellow CPA (FCPA), Chartered Accountant MIA [CA(M)] and member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM).
