Joyce is the Malaysia Leader of Forensic & Integrity Services (“EY Forensics”) at Ernst & Young Consulting Sdn Bhd (“EY”), with more than 29 years of experience. She began her career at EY as a financial auditor before moving into internal audit and risk, and subsequently established the EY Forensics practice. She is frequently invited as a specialist speaker at external events organised by statutory bodies, professional associations, multinational corporations, conglomerates and commercial organisations across various industries, covering topics such as investigation and interviewing techniques, Fraud Risk Management, Corporate Fraud, and the development of Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) frameworks. Her speaking engagements include the Malaysian Association of Certified Fraud Examiners’ Conference, Anti-Corruption Forum organised by the International Strategy Institute, MIA’s session on detecting and reducing supply chain fraud, APAC Investigation Academy’s session on data collection and outside vendors, and corporate fraud programmes organised by state governments. She has also conducted Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption training for corporates across various industries and the Ministry of Finance.

Joyce has led and managed numerous large-scale projects involving fraud investigations, disputes, corporate compliance, merger and acquisition due diligence assessments, US FCPA and UK AB&C compliance reviews, anti-money laundering and anti-fraud services, as well as internal audit, governance review, risk management and integrity due diligence. Her work has covered government-linked companies, multinational corporations, public-listed companies in Malaysia and internationally, as well as non-profit organisations. She also works closely with external lawyers, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and the Commercial Crime Unit of PDRM on fraud and corruption investigations. In addition, she has provided factual and expert witness testimony before the High Court, Industrial Court and Sessions Court of Malaysia.
