Fitriah is the Head of Tax at a leading converged telecommunications solutions provider in Malaysia, with more than 25 years of experience. Her expertise spans tax governance, compliance, advisory, planning, transfer pricing, indirect taxes (GST and Service Tax), tax audits, dispute resolution, tax risk management, stamp duty and e-Invoicing. A strong advocate of tax governance and strategic tax management, she has established and led centralized tax functions for large, diversified groups, developing tax policies, governance frameworks and transformation initiatives that align compliance with business objectives.

Fitriah has spearheaded major tax transformation initiatives, including the design and implementation of tax rule engines within ERP systems to manage diverse asset and expense transactions, strengthening tax determination, controls and reporting capabilities. She has also championed the use of data visualization and AI-driven solutions for real-time variance detection and compliance monitoring across tax and e-Invoice processes. In addition, she led a multi-system e-Invoice implementation integrating data from multiple billing systems, sales channels and ERP platforms, driving cross-functional collaboration, industry engagement and regulatory readiness while balancing compliance requirements with business and customer needs.
