Amarjeet Singh is the EY Asean Tax Leader at Ernst & Young Tax Consultants Sdn. Bhd. With more than 25 years of professional experience, he specializes in tax policy, tax structuring and incentives, group reorganizations and initial public offerings. Amarjeet has advised clients across a range of sectors, including some of ASEAN’s largest conglomerates and government-linked corporations. He has also been involved in major regional mergers, group reorganizations and investment structuring engagements spanning the public utilities, plantation, property, leisure, tourism and automotive sectors. His work includes supporting the development and digitalization of tax systems, transforming multinational organizations’ tax functions, implementing e-Invoicing and establishing tax corporate governance frameworks. Amarjeet frequently shares perspectives on tax policy with policymakers, speaks at seminars across the region and contributes thought leadership articles to leading print media. He is a Fellow of CIMA and a member of CTIM and MIA, and is a licensed tax agent.
