Ahmad Shukri has over 35 years of experience in risk management across various institutions. Prior to his current role, he served as the Chief Risk Officer at Bank Rakyat Malaysia Berhad for more than 8 years. He also held the position of Head of the Risk Management Department at OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad and was the Vice President of Retail Credit Operations at Al-Rajhi Banking & Investment Corporation (Malaysia) Berhad. Additionally, he has held key roles related to credit risk and credit recovery at Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, The Pacific Bank Berhad and Oriental Finance Berhad. Ahmad Shukri holds an Executive Master in Islamic Banking and Finance from Asia e University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Finance from Texas A&M University at Commerce. He is a Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance and has a Certificate in Islamic Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
