Hsern Wei is a Partner and Head of PwC’s Academy at PwC Malaysia, recognised for his expertise in learning, strategic foresight, and organisational development. As an award-winning learning leader, he has shaped forward looking learning strategies that help prepare organisations for tomorrow’s challenges and adopting the skills needed to stay resilient.

At PwC, Hsern Wei leads the design and implementation of learning initiatives within PwC and for PwC’s clients, including setting up Academies, creating new career journey frameworks, establishing new performance management systems, developing people value propositions and embedding and nurturing learning cultures in organisations. He regularly facilitates futures thinking sessions for senior leaders, helping organisations anticipate change and adapt proactively. PwC’s Academy delivers over 1000 programmes a year. His work has contributed to PwC Malaysia being awarded an HR Excellence Award in Learning & Development (2020) and in Leadership Development (2018).

A frequent speaker and thought leader in learning, talent development, and futures thinking. Hsern Wei holds a Master’s of Science in Occupational Psychology from University of Surrey, United Kingdom, is a Certified Foresight Practitioner and is a member of the British Psychological Society. Before PwC, Hsern Wei spent his working career in consulting and leadership development in London.
