JOHN YONG has more than 40 years experience in the HRM field, having worked in a number of industries around Malaysia.

He was the first Executive Director of Negri Sembilan Skills Development Centre and later, went on to work for other organizations holding positions as Assistant GM – Group HR; Director of HR ; General Manager – Group HR & Admin in the course of his employment.

In 2011, he ventured overseas to work with World Vision International as the Director of People & Culture, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. After 4 years, he returned to Malaysia and continued working until late 2021, where he formally retired from the corporate HR arena.

John is currently a Council member of MIHRM, and is one of their Trainers conducting HR, safety and health and even ISO certification programs in addition to offering HR advisory & consultancy services to members.
