Johnny has a MSc TQM from University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom), MBA from Charles Sturt University (Australia), and DBA in Sustainability Studies – European International University (France) . Trained over 56 Lean Six Sigma Black Belts (9 rounds) and 300 Six Sigma Green Belts (35 rounds) and facilitated over 100 projects in various manufacturing and service industries in Hong Kong and China. Well versed with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, 8D, 5S, SPC, FMEA, MSA, TQM, QFD, MBNQA, PPAP, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Design for 6 Sigma (DFSS) & TRIZ. Dr. Johnny holds various international positions in Group Product Regulatory Compliance, Customer Complaints + Returns, Product Testing + Evaluations (White + Brown), Management Representative for Quality, Corporate Social & Security Responsibility and Hazardous Substance Process Management.

Dr. Johnny is Certified Sustainability (ESG) Practitioner (US), Greenhouse Gas Practitioner (BSI), Certified Carbon Implementer & Auditor, Scope 3 Emission Management and CBAM, Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI), Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist (CSRS), Advanced Sustainable Practice Certification (GPM, US) and the Walmart Lean Belt Instructor. A HRD Corp Accredited Trainer – ESG, SMETA, RBA, WCA, WRAP, Human Rights, QIMA, C-TPAT, R2, RCS, a HRDC Accredited Trainer with over 600 hours, formerly a Director in Walmart Global Sourcing. Johnny was recognized and awarded the GPM Sustainability Award 2023 – Sustainability Ethical Leadership and Solutions Provider for Malaysia Manufacturing industry. He co-founded Lean Compass Sdn Bhd, the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer cum Managing Consultant.
