Rafidah is currently the Vice President, Controller in Shell Finance Operations and serves as the Centre Finance Lead for Finance Operations KL, leading a community of over 780 finance staff. With more than 25 years of experience, she is a seasoned senior finance leader with a proven track record in global, regional, and local roles across Shell companies, covering downstream, upstream, integrated gas, and corporate functions. Her portfolio also includes directorship roles in Shell joint ventures and service on boards of trustees.

Throughout her career, Rafidah has held various leadership positions, including heading the Credit organization for Global Shell Downstream, serving as Regional GM Finance for Upstream Exploration (Asia, Australia/New Zealand), and leading as Regional Finance Manager for multiple businesses within Shell Malaysia and Asia, such as Integrated Gas, Mobility, Commercial Fuels, Lubricants, and LPG. She has also worked as a System Implementation Project Manager and Group Controller at Shell headquarters in London and The Hague. A Bachelor of Accounting graduate, Rafidah is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Passionate about digital transformation, she actively sponsors various finance transformation initiatives.
