Dr Raslan Rashid
Dr Raslan’s passion in talent development has been noteworthy not just within his organisation but also Malaysia’s youth and education ecosystem. He has extensive experience of 19 years working across government, private and non-for-profit organizations. In Khazanah, he oversees HR operations covering recruitment, engagement and rewards. Raslan has been instrumental in spearheading efforts to embed ESG and DEI elements within Khazanah’s talent development agenda with a deep focus on employee wellbeing across mental, physical and financial dimensions.
On the national front, Raslan led development of the National Education Blueprint 2013-2025 which charted Malaysia’s academic aspirations, as well as the Malaysia Future Leaders School which enabled youth empowerment and leadership development. His current work looks at enhancing Malaysia’s graduate industry readiness with an eye towards driving productivity through digital upskilling, capstone projects and coaching within the university setting.
Raslan enjoys walking, travelling with his family and has an affinity for cars- not surprising since he read mechanical engineering at University College London (UCL).
